Vaccinations

The Brazilian states for which yellow fever vaccination is recommended are as follows: Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins.

Additional precautions should also be taken on the ground, particularly regarding hygiene:

• regular hand washing;
• consumption of bottled water only;
• mosquito bite prevention; etc.
