Welcome to Brésil!
Upon your arrival at Rio de Janeiro international airport, a warm welcome awaits you.
During your transfer to your hotel located in Copacabana, you will have the opportunity to discover the charms of Brésil's former capital, magnificently surrounded by hills and bays. From afar, you will be able to admire the two emblematic symbols of the city: the Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf Mountain.
The rest of the day will be dedicated to a well-deserved moment of relaxation.
If your flight lands early in the morning, it is possible to organize a tour for this first day, to be booked in advance.
Discovery of Rio de Janeiro: Corcovado, Maracanã and historic center
After your first night in Rio de Janeiro, set off on a half-day excursion to discover the city's iconic sites.
After a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel to begin a day full of discoveries. Head to the top of Corcovado mountain, where the famous Christ the Redeemer statue stands, 38 meters high. A symbol of faith and the warm welcome of Cariocas, it dominates Rio and offers an exceptional panoramic view of the city and its legendary beaches.
Next, you will stop in front of the legendary Maracanã stadium (exterior visit), a place steeped in history that hosted the World Cup finals in 1950 and 2014. You will learn more about its importance in Brésil football. Then, head to the Sambodrome, an emblematic site where the spectacular Rio Carnival parades take place every year.
Next, you will have the opportunity to explore the historic center of Rio, offering a captivating insight into the history of this Brésil metropolis. You will pass by the world-famous Selarón Steps, the aqueduct in the Lapa neighborhood, as well as the majestic Rio de Janeiro Cathedral.
The afternoon will be free for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Optional: for an additional fee, a visit inside the Maracanã stadium is available. Remember to book in advance.
Optional: In the evening, our team will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the renowned Carretão do Lido churrascaria, where you can enjoy a typical dinner.
Recommended: After the meal, our driver will take you to the Ginga Tropical show, a one-and-a-half-hour performance highlighting traditional dances from Brésil, from Lambada to Forró, as well as Samba and Capoeira.
At the end of the show, we will return you to your accommodation.

Ascent of Sugarloaf Mountain and Immersion in Santa Teresa
Today, immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Rio de Janeiro by discovering the famous Sugarloaf Mountain and the historic neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
After a delicious breakfast, your guide will welcome you to start a day full of emotions in the heart of this Brazilian metropolis. You will use two elevators from the Urca neighborhood to reach the Morro de Pão de Açúcar, an emblematic granite block of Rio, which takes its name from the indigenous "pau-NH-acuga," meaning tall and pointed mountain. This name evolved to become "Pão de Açúcar," or sugarloaf in Portuguese. The 360° panoramic view from the summit, reaching 395 m above sea level, is breathtaking, offering a panorama of golden beaches, lush tropical forest, and a vibrant city.
Next, set out to discover the Santa Teresa neighborhood. Located in the heart of Rio, this neighborhood attracts more and more visitors thanks to its natural and architectural attractions, its viewpoints, its cultural centers, its studios, its galleries, its restaurants, its bars and its hotels. Not to mention its famous carnival blocks, Santa Teresa offers a leisure alternative full of serenity in the center of the metropolis.

Tropical Tijuca Forest and Rio Botanical Garden
After a hearty breakfast, prepare yourself for an exciting half-day excursion.
Immerse yourself in the lush greenery of the Tijuca rainforest where you will discover the viewpoint "vista chinesa", offering a spectacular view of the famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, as well as Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf Mountain. Keep your eyes open, as you may spot monkeys, sloths or exotic birds.
Your adventure will also include a visit to the magnificent Taunay waterfall and the charming Mayrink chapel.
We will end this day with an exploration of the Botanical Garden, which spans approximately 140 hectares and is home to nearly 6,500 plant species. Recognized among the ten most important botanical gardens in the world, this site offers an unforgettable experience. Among its treasures, you will find historic palms on the main avenue "Barbosa Rodrigues", as well as greenhouses filled with orchids and rose gardens. Don't miss the lake, where giant aquatic plants float, such as the "Vitória Regia" water lily, the largest in the Amazon.

After breakfast, transfer to Paraty.
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to explore Paraty's historic center.

Beyond its historic district, Paraty stands out for its cultural richness, hosting numerous international artists and entrepreneurs. You will find a variety of restaurants, art galleries and shops that bring a cosmopolitan dimension to the city. Nature enthusiasts will also appreciate the reserves, parks and mountains that surround this enchanting destination.

Schooner Excursion in Paraty
Explore the crystalline waters of Paraty aboard a schooner for an unforgettable experience. Prepare your snorkeling equipment to discover underwater wonders. Admire the multicolored fish and vibrant corals that offer a fascinating spectacle beneath the surface.
For adventure enthusiasts, Stand Up Paddle is available. Between each activity, savor fresh tropical fruits, a refreshing delight that perfectly complements this seaside escape.
Heading to Ilha Grande: Between Land & Sea
The route is divided into two stages: first, a car journey from Paraty to Angra dos Reis, followed by a boat crossing to Ilha Grande.
After breakfast, we begin our journey to Ilha Grande.
Ilha Grande: Crystal Lagoons & Paradise Beaches
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will depart independently towards the Abraão pier to begin an unforgettable boat excursion around Ilha Grande island..
During this adventure, you will have the opportunity to explore remarkable sites such as Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul, Saco do Céu, Praia do Amor and Praia da Feiticeira, which are true natural aquariums.
A stop will be planned for a buffet lunch (not included) during the excursion.
This fascinating experience will last approximately 6 hours and will continue until the end of the afternoon.
At the end of the afternoon, you will be brought back to the Abraão pier.

Take advantage of this free day at Ilha Grande to explore this tropical island as you wish. Whether you're a fan of wild beaches, hiking in nature or sea excursions, many possibilities await you.
Excursion Ideas at Ilha Grande :
Set out by boat to discover the paradise islands of Angra dos Reis, including must-see sites such as Botinas, a natural aquarium, as well as Ilha de Cataguaz, Praia do Dentista, Praia da Piedade and Praia das Flechas.
Explore the beaches of Lopes Mendes and Aventureiro. For hiking enthusiasts, a walk of around 2h30 will take you to these two beaches, recognized among the most beautiful on the island. Boats at Abraão port also offer round-trip transport service to these idyllic beaches.
Ilha Grande is also famous for its waterfalls, notably the Cachoeira da Feiticeira, the most accessible and renowned. The trail leading to this waterfall has some steep and slippery sections. Plan around 1h30 of walking from Abraão, passing through the Aqueduct, on a well-marked path. If you prefer, you can choose a water taxi to take you directly to Praia da Feiticeira, thus saving yourself 30 minutes of walking.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the pousada, followed by a free morning to explore at your own pace.
In the afternoon, board a boat heading to Conceição de Jacarei, before returning to Rio de Janeiro.

Passport
To enter Brazil, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay and have at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area and Switzerland benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days upon entry to the territory, limited to 180 days per 12-month period. No extension is generally granted beyond this duration without an appropriate visa.
Canadian nationals also benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays, under the same duration conditions.
Authorities may request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation address in Brazil.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccine is mandatory to enter Brazil from the EEA, Switzerland or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are strongly recommended:
yellow fever is recommended for travelers going to Amazonian regions or certain at-risk areas; an international vaccination certificate may be required upon entry if you are arriving from at-risk countries,
vaccinations against hepatitis A, hepatitis B and typhoid are also advised depending on your itinerary.
It is recommended to consult a doctor or international vaccination center before your departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one of their parents or without both parents, a notarized parental authorization may be required by Brazilian authorities upon entry or exit from the territory. This requirement also applies to children of Brazilian nationality. It is advisable to inquire with the Brazilian embassy before departure.
