Embark on an exceptional adventure in the north of the Pantanal, a wild land where nature reigns supreme. From Chapada dos Guimarães, with its majestic waterfalls and breathtaking panoramas, to Nobres, where you will explore crystalline waters while snorkeling among colorful fish, each step immerses you in a spectacular setting. Then, set sail for the Pantanal, one of the world's largest biodiversity sanctuaries, where you will travel the legendary Transpantaneira to encounter caimans, capybaras, hyacinth macaws and perhaps even the mythical jaguar. Between hiking, boat excursions and horseback riding across the flooded plains, this circuit promises you total immersion in the heart of Brésil's fauna and magnificent landscapes. An unforgettable experience for nature and adventure lovers!
This trip is feasible from June to November. Outside this period, the excursion dedicated to jaguar observation cannot be carried out.

Chapada dos Guimarães and its spectacular panoramas
Upon arrival at the airport, a transfer representative will wait for you near the baggage carousel, holding a sign with your name.
You will then be taken to the beautiful city of Chapada dos Guimarães, located 70 km northeast of Cuiabá. This town, which has approximately 16,000 inhabitants and sits at 836 meters altitude on a rocky plateau, will captivate you with its impressive landscape, composed of gorges, mountains, caves, rivers and waterfalls.
Chapada dos Guimarães, after the Amazon and the Pantanal, represents the third major ecosystem of this Mato Grosso region, recognized for its natural beauty.
Upon arrival, you will settle into a pousada in the village. Lunch will be served depending on your arrival time at the airport.
After your meal, head to the Mirante viewpoint to enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. This place is also the geographical center of South America.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy a short hike in the Table mountains and visit other attractions, such as rock sculptures and small waterfalls.
Please note that these excursions depend on available time and the opening hours of the sites, which may vary and cannot be planned in advance.
In the evening, you will return to Chapada for dinner, then spend the night in your pousada. The rest of the evening will be free for you to explore or relax.

Bridal Veil Falls
After a delicious breakfast, head out to explore the majestic "Bridal Veil" ("Véu de Noiva") waterfall, the most impressive in the region.
Continue your adventure by heading to the charming village of Chapada for a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a pleasant hike through the Table Mountains.
End your day with a convivial dinner and rest for the night at the pousada.

Bom Jardim and Lagoa Azul
Chapada dos Guimarães → Bom Jardim
After a delicious breakfast, head to Bom Jardim, located near Nobres, for a journey of approximately 2 hours (150 km). Lunch will be served at the pousada, followed by an immersion in the exceptionally colorful beauty of this landscape.
Equip yourself with your snorkeling gear to explore the crystalline waters of the spring. You will have the opportunity to observe fish such as the pintado, dorado, as well as various aquarium species. Continue your adventure with snorkeling along the river.
In the afternoon, around 5:00 PM, head to Lagoa Azul, a true sanctuary for hundreds of bird species, including the yellow-breasted macaw, parakeets and the hyacinth macaw. The day will end with a delicious dinner at the lodge.

Immersion in the Pantanal
Lagoa Azul → UeSo Pantanal Lodge
After breakfast, you head towards the Pantanal, covering 288 km, including 38 km on the natural roads of the famous Transpantaneira. Several stops will be planned along this route to admire the region's rich flora and fauna.
Upon arrival at the Pousada, a buffet lunch will await you.
Following this meal and a short break, you will set off on a hiking excursion in search of capuchin monkeys and, if you're lucky, howler monkeys. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the view from our 17-metre tower. Back at the lodge, dinner will be served, followed by free time.
Please note that the excursion programme may vary depending on the season, water cycle and weather conditions. Thus, the order of activities could be different from that planned in the travel programme. The exact times of each activity will be confirmed by the pousada staff.
Practical tips: Remember to bring comfortable shoes and sandals, a swimsuit, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, light and comfortable clothing (prefer light colours to avoid insects and heat), a waterproof poncho, insect repellent and cash for additional expenses (credit cards may not be accepted).
Recommendations: Don't forget to bring binoculars, a torch and a camera to capture your memories.

Trekking, horseback riding and night safari in the Pantanal
Start your day with an early morning hike at sunrise, organized upon request at 5:30 AM. After this invigorating experience, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge.
Then, participate in a horseback riding excursion, suitable for beginners (An equestrian helmet is available at reception to ensure your safety). You will have the opportunity to traverse the splendid landscape of the Pantanal while observing a variety of wildlife.
After lunch, enjoy a moment of relaxation by the pool.
In late afternoon, embark on a rowing boat excursion, a silent method that allows you to observe caimans and, with a bit of luck, a family of giant otters.
To conclude the day, a night safari on foot can be organized upon request after dinner, offering a unique chance to observe nocturnal wildlife. Don't forget your flashlight for this unforgettable adventure.

At the Heart of Nature
UeSo Pantanal Lodge → Porto Jofre
Wake up at 5 in the morning, after which we offer you a coffee or tea. Then, we will take the Transpantaneira to travel 107 km to Porto Jofre. This journey will allow you to observe many caimans, capybaras and birds. We will make a pleasant break for breakfast in a charming setting.
Porto Jofre → UeSo Pantanal Lodge
At Porto Jofre, embark on a 5-hour boat excursion in the Cerrado, aboard simple boats. You will have the chance to admire the preserved nature of the Cuiabá, Tres Irmãos, São Lourenço and Piquiri rivers, while being in jaguar territory, thus offering great possibilities of spotting this majestic predator.
A picnic lunch will be taken on board before heading back to the lodge in late afternoon.

Wildlife Observation in the Heart of the Pantanal
It is possible to organize an early morning walk at sunrise at 5:30 am on request. Breakfast will be served at the lodge.
After this energizing meal, set off on an exciting walk to discover the surrounding wildlife.
Enjoy lunch at the lodge before preparing yourself for an unforgettable experience in the late afternoon.
Go horseback riding, an activity accessible even for beginners, while keeping an eye open to spot numerous wild animals.
End your day with a friendly dinner at the lodge.

Hiking and Horseback Riding in the Heart of the Pantanal
After breakfast at the pousada, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
If your departure is scheduled for late afternoon, you will be able to enjoy a last walking excursion in the morning, ideal for observing the wildlife and flora of the Pantanal one last time. In this case, your transfer to the airport will be scheduled after lunch.

Passport
To enter Brazil, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay and have at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area and Switzerland benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days upon entry to the territory, limited to 180 days per 12-month period. No extension is generally granted beyond this duration without an appropriate visa.
Canadian nationals also benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays, under the same duration conditions.
Authorities may request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation address in Brazil.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccine is mandatory to enter Brazil from the EEA, Switzerland or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are strongly recommended:
yellow fever is recommended for travelers going to Amazonian regions or certain at-risk areas; an international vaccination certificate may be required upon entry if you are arriving from at-risk countries,
vaccinations against hepatitis A, hepatitis B and typhoid are also advised depending on your itinerary.
It is recommended to consult a doctor or international vaccination center before your departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one of their parents or without both parents, a notarized parental authorization may be required by Brazilian authorities upon entry or exit from the territory. This requirement also applies to children of Brazilian nationality. It is advisable to inquire with the Brazilian embassy before departure.
