During your transfer to your hotel in Copacabana, let yourself be captivated by the first panoramic view of this fascinating city, formerly the capital of Brésil. Nestled between lush hills and spectacular bays, Rio de Janeiro offers a unique setting.
In the distance, you will already be able to see its iconic landmarks: the Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf Mountain.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing or freely exploring this vibrant metropolis.
Discovery of Rio de Janeiro: Corcovado, Maracanã and historic center
After your first night in Rio, your day begins with a half-day excursion to Corcovado and downtown.
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel to begin the ascent of Corcovado mountain. From its summit, you will enjoy a spectacular view of Rio. You will discover the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, 38 meters high, a symbol of the faith and generosity of Cariocas.
A stop is planned at the Maracanã stadium (exterior view), to discuss its role during the World Cups of 1950 and 2014. The visit continues at the Sambodrome, venue for carnival parades.
You will then head to the historic center of Rio to discover some of its iconic sites: the Selarón steps, the Lapa aqueduct and the metropolitan cathedral.

Excursion to Sugarloaf Mountain and Discovery of Rio's Historic Center
Today, you set off to discover the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain and the historic center of Rio. After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel for another day full of discoveries in this great Brazilian metropolis.
From the Urca neighborhood, you will take two cable cars to reach first Morro da Urca, then the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain, at 395 meters altitude. This granite block, originally called pau-NH-acuga by indigenous peoples, meaning "tall and pointed mountain", became Pão de Açúcar in Portuguese. The 360° panoramic view from its summit is breathtaking: golden beaches, lush tropical forest and bustling city spread out as far as the eye can see.
You will continue with a guided tour of the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa. Nestled in the heart of Rio, this neighborhood captivates with its viewpoints, artistic atmosphere, galleries, workshops, bars and historic mansions. It is a charming escape, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

From Rio to Iguazu Falls - Brazilian Side: An Immersion in the Heart of a Natural Wonder
Rio de Janeiro → Foz do Iguaçu
Early in the morning, you leave the hustle and bustle of Rio de Janeiro to reach Foz do Iguaçu by plane.
Upon arrival, you head directly to visit the waterfalls on the Brazilian side.
You will discover one of the greatest natural spectacles in the world: more than 270 impressive cascades forming the Iguazu Falls. After the visitor center, a one-kilometer walk will lead you to several viewpoints, including the famous Devil's Gorge, for a breathtaking visual experience.
The excursion ends at the top of the falls, accessible by stairs or panoramic elevator, before reaching the Porto Canoas walkway, overlooking the Iguazu River. Your driver will be waiting there to take you back to your hotel.
You will then visit the Foz do Iguaçu Bird Park, where more than 150 species live in large aviaries integrated into the Atlantic forest. Macaws, parrots and toucans can be observed up close in this center dedicated to bird conservation.
Optional: thrills guaranteed with a speedboat tour at the foot of the waterfalls, or a helicopter flight. Advance booking recommended.
Iguazu Falls - Argentine Side
We set off to discover the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side at 08:30 am. It's worth noting that the majority of the falls are located on Argentine territory. There are 4 trails that allow you to see them up close in the heart of the forest. We take the park's small train to take us to the starting point of the hiking trails towards the waterfalls.
Heading to Manaus: The Gateway to the Amazon
Today, you head to the airport for a flight to Manaus, the famous city nestled in the heart of the Amazon basin, on the banks of the Negro River. The hustle and bustle of this large city contrasts sharply with the immensity of the surrounding jungle, which stretches as far as the eye can see.
Once thriving and fashionable, the Amazonian capital is experiencing new growth today as a free trade zone. Upon your arrival, a transfer to your accommodation is arranged.
Amazon Immersion - Amazon Turtle Lodge
Early morning departure for an unforgettable adventure
At 08:00, accompanied by an English-speaking specialist guide, you begin a combined land and river transfer of approximately 3 hours 30 minutes to the Amazon Turtle Lodge, nestled deep in the Amazon rainforest.
This transfer is an adventure in itself:
Crossing the "Meeting of the Waters", where the Rio Negro and Rio Solimões unite without mixing, creating a unique natural spectacle.

Tips for a successful Amazon adventure
Essential equipment: comfortable shoes and sandals, swimsuit, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, light and covering clothing (avoid dark colors), waterproof poncho, insect repellent, and cash (credit cards may not work).
Recommended equipment: binoculars for wildlife observation, flashlight, camera to capture unique moments.

For an adrenaline rush, expert guides will capture a caiman by hand so you can observe it up close and take memorable photos, before releasing it safely back into its natural habitat.

This UNESCO World Heritage district is a true open-air museum, testament to the unique blend of African, European and indigenous influences that shaped Salvador.

To enter Brazil, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay and have at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area and Switzerland benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days upon entry to the territory, limited to 180 days per 12-month period. No extension is generally granted beyond this duration without an appropriate visa.
Canadian nationals also benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays, under the same duration conditions.
Authorities may request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation address in Brazil.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccine is mandatory to enter Brazil from the EEA, Switzerland or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are strongly recommended:
yellow fever is recommended for travelers going to Amazonian regions or certain at-risk areas; an international vaccination certificate may be required upon entry if you are arriving from at-risk countries,
vaccinations against hepatitis A, hepatitis B and typhoid are also advised depending on your itinerary.
It is recommended to consult a doctor or international vaccination center before your departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one of their parents or without both parents, a notarized parental authorization may be required by Brazilian authorities upon entry or exit from the territory. This requirement also applies to children of Brazilian nationality. It is advisable to inquire with the Brazilian embassy before departure.
